- HONEY + OLIVE OIL
The power of olive oil is very well-known! Filled with good fats, this ingredient is especially great if you feel your scalp is itchy and sensitive after you dyed your hair. Also rich in vitamin E, it helps to bring back moisture to your mane! Allied with honey, a natural humectant, you’ll see how nourished and smooth your locks will look after applying this hair mask!
To make this hair mask, you’ll only need 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of honey! After you mix them, warm the mixture in the microwave for a little while (don’t forget to put it in a heat-safe bowl!). Check if it’s lukewarm and apply it to your wet hair. Massage it in your scalp as well as through all your hair. Leave it acting for about 30 minutes, and then, rinse it all off!
- BANANA + MILK + HONEY
One of the most dreaded consequences of dying your hair is seeing it become super fragile… If that’s your case, this recipe can help you make your locks strong again! Since banana is rich in potassium and other nutrients, this ingredient will help make hair more resilient and elastic. With milk, a substance known for its richness in proteins, you’ll ensure that your mane won’t be fragile any more! And to ensure your threads will look shiny, add honey to the mixture!
Making this hair mask is quick and easy: mash 1 banana in a bowl and then add one tablespoon of full-cream milk. Put in 1 tablespoon of honey and mix it all together! After that, apply the mixture to your damp hair and scalp and let it act for 20-30 minutes. Then, rinse it off and finish your hair care routine as you normally would!
