That\u2019s due to the fact that a washing machine has tough movements and can damage delicate garments like lace or detailed lingerie! If you REALLY don\u2019t have the time to hand-wash your delicates, there is an option of using a \u201clingerie bag\u201d, which is essentially a bag that protects all your underwear when they are on the washing machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/2598\/9598\/products\/Bra_Best_Lace_Fruit_De_La_Passion_Luxury_Lingerie_Brasil_Original1255_b6e64825-5d92-4bc9-954f-49cc3a10dd2f_2000x.jpg?v=1561401100\" alt=\"underwear\" width=\"412\" height=\"412\" \/><figcaption>You wouldn&#8217;t want to damage a bra as beautiful as this<a href=\"https:\/\/metrobrazil.com\/collections\/tops\/products\/cover-up-bra-fruit-de-la-passion?variant=15616559317035\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> one<\/a> from Fruit de La Passion, right?<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"has-custom-weight wp-block-list\" style=\"font-weight:bold\"><li><strong>LET THEM SOAK<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are still a little doubtful about washing your lingerie manually because you think it will take a long time, know that that is not the case! It\u2019s something that takes about 10 minutes. Beforehand, you will need to soak it in a sink for 10-15 minutes, preferably with a specific underwear detergent, okay?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After soaking the pieces, rub each one gently with your hands or with the help of a toothbrush. Soon after, just squeeze (again, in a GENTLE way) to get the excess water out! Leave them to dry naturally and that&#8217;s it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"has-custom-weight wp-block-list\" style=\"font-weight:bold\"><li>DO NOT MIX!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>As we said, you will need to soak your clothes for a few minutes. Although not very common, underwear can also stain! So separate them by color, just as you would with normal clothes. You don\u2019t want your white bra turning grey, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/2598\/9598\/products\/4_f9cd1c12-7620-4568-b9df-e48452ff31a7_2000x.jpg?v=1573795109\" alt=\"underwear\" width=\"408\" height=\"408\" \/><figcaption>Just imagine washing this gorgeous pink bra with a lovely white one&#8230; Remember to separate them by color!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"has-custom-weight wp-block-list\" style=\"font-weight:bold\"><li><strong>STAY AWAY FROM BLEACHING<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike shirts, pants, and other pieces of white clothing, DO NOT bleach your white lingerie! This will make your bra or panties discolor and if they have any details, you can kiss them goodbye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to whiten in any way, choose to do it naturally, by using white vinegar. Just put a few drops of it in warm water and let the white lingerie soak for approximately 1 hour. Then wash with the lingerie-specific detergent to remove the vinegar smell!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/2598\/9598\/products\/1_bb2d2b6b-db5a-440f-80a8-41664c115c37_2000x.jpg?v=1572619216\" alt=\"underwear\" width=\"421\" height=\"421\" \/><figcaption>Do a &#8220;natural bleaching&#8221; with white vinegar! It works wonderfully!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"has-custom-weight wp-block-list\" style=\"font-weight:bold\"><li><strong>DO NOT USE THE DRYER<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We briefly mentioned in item 2 that underwear should dry naturally, but you may have passed through it. Again, let your lingerie air dry! While it is possible to wash a lingerie bag (although not at all recommended), even with one of these, the high temperatures of a dryer can spoil bra details and shapes, discolor panties, among other disasters.
